The BMW Nazca is one of my favorite supercar concepts. Named after the mysterious Nazca Lines, giant 2 dimensional field drawings carved by the Inca people of ancient Peru, there were 3 variants: the C2, C2 Spyder, and this one, the M12. Only a handful of each were made, from 1991 to 1993, and at least one was sold to the Sultan of Brunei. The Nazca was made for BMW and used similar engines to the 8 Series, but the genius behind the Nazca is Italdesign leader Giorgetto Giugiaro - my favorite car designer. Another BMW he designed: the legendary M1. The Nazca was powered by a mid mounted V12, and its top speed was well over 180 mph. Model made by Revell, enjoy the pictures.
